Going for the Insta

It seems I’ve not had enough time to write lengthy daft blogs recently.

In fact, the last one I crafted – very probably the funniest I’ve ever written (hahahaha – if you believe that…) – was lost somewhere in the blogosphere when my website crashed and my latest backup was before I even drafted the wretched thing. And since then, sorting out the many problems with my website has just not risen to the top of my priority list. Nor do I have the competence to put it right.

So, I thought I might go the more pithy and pictorial route by using Instagram for a while.

Let’s see whether I can gather more followers there than I have ever had here.

I’ll still try to do some longform stuff on here from time to time. After all – it is therapeutic! eg. My daughter just messaged me to say that if I had been with her on her outdoor excursion today with her 4-month-old twins, I would have got a good blog-post out of it. Which is ‘code’ for a disaster which has to be interpreted humorously or it’ll properly get you down. Today’s episode ended, apparently, with her hair-drying one twin while the other one waited patiently (and damply) for her turn.

To be fair, how many days of rain have there been in the past 4 months in this part of the world?

Shameless use of someone else’s material – oops, sorry!

Now to think of an amazing first post on the ‘gram. Hmmmmm
